Where are you from?
I am from Bexley and I am a solo artist.
What's your genre?
I sing a mixture of pop and country.
If you could be a member of any band (past or present), what band would it be and why?
If I could be a member of any band, I would want to be a part of Maroon 5 because I love their music and think it would be so cool to sing with Adam Levin.
If you could open for any musician or band, who would it be?
I would want to open for Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift because they are two of my favorite artists and they continue to inspire me as a person and a musician.
What decade does your music belong in?
I think my music belongs in this current decade because I sing and write songs that reflect todays pop and country music.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, pick one album you'd be happy to have with you?
Definitely Taylor Swift’s album Red.
What is your must-have food for practice?
Cheeze its or goldfish.
What is the worst gig you've ever played? Best gig? Is Instaband your first gig?
The worst gig I played was at Notes in German Village. The sound system was not good and it was the first time I played a song I wrote for an audience. My best gig was at Natalie’s Cold Fire Pizza. Instaband will not be my first gig. I have played many places around Columbus such as Woodlands Tavern, Tuttle Mall, Natalie’s Cold Fire Pizza, Capital University, Chiller Ice Rink, Acorn theater in Michigan, Brother’s Drake, Java Central and Notes.
Name one song that you would absolutely never cover?
What's your writing process like?
I start by finding a chord progression that I like. Then I look at lyrics I’ve jotted down over the years. When I write I think about what I would want to say to someone or what I want someone to know but I can’t say to them.
